uh...so i'm covered in hives...what the fuck am i allergic to and/or is it psychosomatic? this is *super* great timing too -- nothing like a benadryl cocktail 4 times a day to make you feel...

i forget what i was going to say. see? it's been like this for two days now!

Damn... :(
It couldn't have been the Brighton Diet, could it? I mean, those eggs really did look healthy!

...although more people around me seem to have a rash of some sort, I just come to learn... not me yet, though...

well, the onset was thursday afternoon so if i was going to blame the brighton all-liquid diet, it would have come up sooner.

more people with rashes? tell them to go to the doctor if it comes with a fever and/or a bad cough -- it could be measles. when i got back into the us, passport control had signs up that said that those returning from germany may have been exposed to measles and had an additional comment about it spreading across europe and the uk. apparently in one village in germany there were 1200 cases last month. apparently americans are really vulnerable because they say that the vaccines we got as kids may have worn off -- something to do with some kind of controversy about the effectiveness of the vaccine.

but, for the record, i do not have the measles. unfortunately...it might be the licorice. i didn't eat a lot of it until i got home and licorice can cause some people to break into hives!!! so put it in a container and then in a couple weeks i'll try it again to see if the hives come back. damn...that would completely suck if it were the licorice.

i'm still betting on stress.

i'd suggest getting a MMR booster shot before you go -- that's what the state department is suggesting. you might have had one before you started college but if not you'll probably want one now. not sure about the vaccine effectiveness for when you were an infant but they really messed ours up so we had to have a booster before we started college.
